- Inability to move;
- Greatly increased saliva/sweat/tears;
- Flushes;
- Fast/slow heartbeat;
- Dizziness;
- Diarrhea;
- Confusion;
- Blurred vision;
- Agitation;
Side Effects
Side effects may include:
- Weakness;
- Vomiting;
- Urticaria;
- Trouble breathing;
- Slurred speech;
- Slow heartbeat;
- Shortness of breath;
- Severe dizziness;
- Rash;
- New or increased muscle cramps/weakness/twitching;
- New or increased difficulty swallowing;

- Itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat);
- Increased urination;

Contraindications
Mestinon is contraindicated in urinary obstruction or mechanical intestinal, and particular caution should be used in its
administration to patients with bronchial asthma.
Mestinon is contraindicated if you have:
- Vagotonia;
- Severe liver disease;
- Severe kidney disease;
- Recent coronary occlusion;
- Persistent runny nose;
- Peritonitis the mechanical obstruction of the intestinal or urinary tract;
- Peptic ulcer;
- Nasal Polyps;
- Hyperthyrodism;
- History reaction to bromides;
- Epilepsy;
- Decrease gastrointestinal motility or Megacolon;
- Cardiac;
- Bronchial asthma;
- Bradycardia;
- Asthma;
- Arrhythmias;
- Allergic to Mestinon;
Mestinon Drug Reactions
Inform your pharmacist if you are taking any of the following medicines:
- Streptomycin;
- Neostigmine;
- Neomycin;
- Muscle relaxants (Succinycholine Decamethonium);
- Local and some General anesthethics;
- Kanamycin;
- Antropine;
- Antiarrhythmic agents;
